BIOSC 147: Molecular and Cellular Biology

BioSc147  is the Molecular and Cellular Biology course for Biology and Biotechnology majors.  Students apply techniques and experimental skills commonly used in biotechnology and molecular biology laboratories. These include microscopy, molecular genetics (PCR, agarose gels, plasmid construction and tests of genotypes/phenotypes), enzyme assays, cell culture, protein purification, spectrophotometry, standard curves, ELISA, and metabolic assays.
